Associated species include Carex siccata, Dichanthelium linearifolium, Andropogon gerardii, Poa compressa, Calystegia spithamea, Viola adunca, Artemisia campestris, Campanula rotundifolia, Rubus sp., and two Cladonia spp. lichens.
