Shallow (6-24 inches deep), slack water on margin of river channel. Water levels are high (12-18 inches) following an abnormally wet spring season. Substrate is muck over sand. Full sun ... Associated species include Glyceria grandis, Phalaris arundinacea, Zizania palustris, Veronica catenata, Hippuris vulgaris.
