Habitat: within a mosaic of graminoid wetland communities on shallw slopes on the W side of the [river] valley. Other co-occurring, dominants include Carex lacustris and Typha. On deep peat deposit with water table at or above ground surface. Associated with Carex prairea, Calamagrostis canadensis, Lysimachia thyrsiflora, Scutellaria galericulata, Rumex orbiculatus.
