small sedge meadow ... Wet organic substrate. In shallow water following recent heavy rains. Full sun to partial shade of Populus balsamifera, Salix discolor, and Cornus stolonifera. Additional associates include Carex lacustris, C. stricta, Calamagrostis canadensis, Equisetum arvense.
