Habitat: Cove faces east into main part of bay. High lake water level for time of season. Population 20 m from shore and in 1.25 m of water down to mucky-silty organic substrate. Growing with Sparganium angustifolium,, Nymphaea odorata, Sagittaria rigida, Potamogeton zosteriformis, Potamogeton amplifolius, and Potamogeton cf. natans.
Description: Irregular patch approx. 15m in diameter. Specimens in flower with tens of thousands stems in cohesive grouping. Floating and submerged leaves present. Specimens collected on third day of consecutive three-day rains.
