Habitat: Fencerow along level land with corn fields and coffee plantations, cinder soil red and friable;
Description: Vine 0.5-2.5 meters tall, with milky sap, stem not thickened or corky at base, rhizome horizontal and rooting at nodes, not much thickened, corolla with outer part greenish-white with dark purple reticulations (variable in number making corolla variable in shade), inner part of corolla with darker and thicker reticulations, outer corona lobes yellowish-orange on sides in discreet patches ringed by reddish-purple, dark purple at tips, otherwise white, gynostegium reddish-purple except yellow around pollinia and tip of style apex white.
