Habitat: Recently burned wet mesic prairie adjacent to agricultural field. Aspen surrounding open prairie. In micro depression dominated by Carex pellita, Spartina pectinata, and Calamagrostis stricta. Smooth brome, Canada thistle and reed canary grass invading.
Associated Species: Common associates: Andropogon gerardii, Doellingeria umbellata, and Apocynum sibiricum. Very diverse prairie.
