tree, to 13.69 m in height, DBH 18.6 cm, trunk height to foliage 7.85 m, crown height 5.84 m, crown width 6.59 m; foliage 9.8 kg mature wet mass, 0.1557 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark rough, with lenticels; fissures broad; bark black, dark brown, white, grey; cambium light brown; wood brown, light brown; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: guakul Local use: used to treat snake bites
