tree, to 18.04 m in height, DBH 17.6 cm, trunk height to foliage 4.64 m, crown height 13.4 m, crown width 6.65 m; foliage 9 kg mature wet mass, 0.3739 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark brown, light brown, yellow; cambium brown; wood light brown, yellow, white; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: guakul Local use: used to treat snake bites
