small tree, to 8.5 m in height, DBH 5.7 cm, trunk height to foliage 3.8 m, crown height 4.7 m, crown width 3 m, stilt roots up to 1.1 m; foliage 0.6 kg mature wet mass, 0.035 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth, with lenticels; fissures vertical, narrow; bark brown, light brown, green; cambium brown, light brown, white; wood brown, light brown; exudate absent; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot.
