Description: tree, to 8.55 m in height, DBH 9.2 cm, trunk height to foliage 2.1 m, crown height 6.45 m, crown width 3 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass; outer bark with lenticels; fissures vertical; bark brown; cambium brown, light brown; wood brown, white; exudate white; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: tantan Local use: latex used as glue to attach dried aninmal skins to drums, for tuning drums, and on arrows; timber for fence construction and firewood
