tree, to 10.4 m in height, DBH 7.4 cm, trunk height to foliage 1.3 m, crown height 9.1 m, crown width 5.1 m; foliage 4 kg mature wet mass, 0.0883 kg juvenile wet mass; outer bark smooth; fissures vertical; bark dark brown, brown, light brown, grey; cambium light brown, pink; wood brown, light brown; exudate white; DNA preserved in silica, from felled plot. Local name: tantan Local use: latex used as glue to attach dried aninmal skins to drums, for tuning drums, and on arrows; timber for fence construction and firewood
