tree fern, to 7.87 m in height, DBH 12.7 cm, trunk height to foliage 3.6 m, crown height 4.27 m, crown width 4.4 m; foliage 1 kg mature wet mass; bark brown; cambium black, white; wood black, white; exudate yellow, orange, from felled plot. Local name: kodilom Local use: timber for house and shed construction; leaves are edible and used as cushions
