Habitat: Locally abundant in a small beaver pond along a subtle drainage at the base of the steep north-facing slope of a 250-foot bedrock ridge just southeast of Vesper Lake. Forming fairly dense patches in shallow water. Rooting in a layer of muck over bedrock and boulders. Full sun most of the day.
Associated Species: Associates include Utricularia intermedia, U. minor, Sagittaria latifolia, Potamogeton gramineus, Sparganium emersum, Glyceria canadensis, Dulichium arundinaceum, Carex utriculata.
