Habitat: Local in a small beaver pond along a subtle drainage at the base of the steep north-facing slope of a 250-foot bedrock ridge just southeast of Vesper Lake. Frequent in shallow water. Rooting in a layer of muck over bedrock and boulders. Full sun most of the day.
Associated Species: Associates include Hippuris vulgaris, Sparganium emersum, Utricularia intermedia, U. minor, Potamogeton gramineus, Carex utriculata, Dulichium arundinaceum, Glyceria canadensis
