Habitat: Local in shallow water at the eastern tip of Echo Lake. Forming small, loose patches in the narrow flowage which enters the lake from the east. Occurring at the eastern end of the short navigable portion of the flowage. Most plants are entirely submersed in water less than 3 feet deep; a few emergent plants occur on the edge of the boggy shore. Full sun.
Associated Species: Associates include Sparganium fluctuans, Potamogeton obtusifolius.
