Description: Ecology: Two specimens from a collection growing terrestrially scattered to gregarious in a red pine plantation; Cap: 55-85mm convex to plane. Yellow-Brown, darker at center. Appressed fibers at apex; Stem: 35-65mm length. Equal to slightly clavate. Width 15-30mm; Gills: Sinuate to emarginate. Crowded to close. Pale yellow; Spore Print: White to pale cream; Spores: Ellipsoid and smooth; Reactions: 5% KOH reddish on cap
