Habitat: Some cut stumps, north facing slope. Dominated by Carya cordiformis and Celtis occidentalis. Deer browse heavy, however there are plenty of Arisaema in flower. Very little tree regeneration. Very few invasive species - occasional Berberis thunbergii. Occasional moss covered rock (basketball sized).
Associated Species: Common Associates: Claytonia virginica, Cryptotaenia canadensis, Osmorhiza claytonii, and Circaea lutetiana var. canadensis.
