Locality: United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, 175 meters east of County Highway 39; 0.85 miles east of Pimushe Lake; 5.5 miles northwest of Pennington.

Habitat: Growing in approximately 10 x 10 ft. swale along north side of creek under part-shade canopy of Fraxinus nigra, Picea glauca, Betula papyrifera and Abies balsamea. Close to transition zone of Thuja occidentalis swamp.
Associated Species: Athyrium filix-femina is dominant fern here with Petasites frigidus var. palmatus, Aralia nudicaulis, Eurybia macrophylla, Smilacina trifolia, Thalictrum dioicum.
