Locality: United States, Minnesota, Beltrami, 0.3 miles east of the Blue Ox State Trail; 1.8 miles southwest of Turtle River.

Habitat: Growing in small poor fen opening surrounded by tamarack, cedar and black spruce swamp and a small upland to the northeast. Opening appears to be influenced by hydrology between upland and wetland. G
Associated Species: rowing with stunted Larix laricina overstory, as well as Arethusa bulbosa, Rhododendron groenlandicum, Cornus sericea, Menyanthes trifoliata, Sarracenia purpurea, Carex limosa, Vaccinium oxycoccos in the ground layer.
