Habitat: Scattered throughout poor fen, mostly on north side of bog pond. Scattered stunted Picea mariana and Larix laricina. Mat dominated by low hummocks of Sphagnum angustifolium near lake.
Associated Species: Other associates include Carex lasiocarpa, Potentilla palustris, Menyanthes trifoliata, Scheuchzeria palustris, Carex chordorrhiza, Vaccinium oxycoccos, Kalmia polifolia, Sarracenia purpurea.
