Habitat: Several hundred plants growing along drainage creek at the margin of slope and an adjacent wetter area. Fraxinus nigra canopy. Rich, loamy soil.
Associated Species: Associates inlcude Athyrium felix-fimina, Clintonia borealis, Cystopteris bulbifera, Cryptotaenia virginiana, Viola renifolia, Acer spicatum, Asarum canadense, Equisetum pratense.
