Locality: United States, Minnesota, Washington, Colby Lake City Park. 2.5 miles southeast of Woodbury.

Habitat: Found near the southeast shoreline of Colby Lake (ID 82009400), a 70 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Poor water clarity, water green in color. Individuals locally common. Floating on the surface of the water and collecting in a paritally sheltered area. Additional plants observed in the northeast bay. Color images of specimen verified by Dr. K. Sowjanya Sree on August 2020.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Wolffia columbiana, W. borealis, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna turionifera, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum spicatum, Potamogeton zosteriformis.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
