Habitat: Found near the northwest shoreline of Powers Lake (ID 82009200), a 60 acre basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Green-colored water. Individuals locally common, floating on the surface of the water near the shoreline edge.
Substrate: Silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Wolffia borealis, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna trisulca, L. turionifera, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum spicatum, Heteranthera dubia, Potamogeton pusillus, P. crispus, Elodea canadensis, Chara braunii.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
