Habitat: Found near the northeast shoreline of Wakefield Lake (ID 62001100), a 22 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Water clarity moderate to poor. Abundant filamentous algae observed. Individuals locally sparse, collecting on the surface of the water around topped out submerged plants and Typha angustifolia which dominates the shoreline.
Substrate: Silt substrate.
Associated Species: Other associates include Wolffia borealis, W. columbiana, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna turionifera, L. trisulca, Ceratophyllum demersum, Elodea canadensis, Potamogeton crispus, Stuckenia pectinata.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
