Habitat: Found near the northwest shoreline of Bennett Lake (ID 62004800), a 30 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the Anoka Sand Plain Ecological Subsection. Individuals locally abundant, floating on the water's surface. Observed throughout the basin, collecting near the shoreline margins.
Substrate: Sand-silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Wolffia borealis, W. columbiana, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna turionifera, Ceratophyllum demersum, Potamogeton crispus, Myriophyllum sibiricum.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
