Habitat: Found near the eastern shoreline of Kohlman Lake (ID 62000600), an 85 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the St. Paul - Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Connected to Gervais Lake by a small channel. Individuals locally abundant, floating on the surface of the water. Observed commonly lakewide, collecting near the shoreline margins.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Wolffia borealis, W. columbiana, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna turionifera, Ceratophyllum demersum, Stuckenia pectinata.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
