Habitat: Found near the northwest shoreline of Keller Lake (ID 62001002), a 75 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the St. Paul - Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Part of the Phalen Chain of Lakes. Individuals locally abundant, floating on the surface of the water.
Substrate: Soft, muck substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Wolffia borealis, W. columbiana, Lemna trisulca, L. turionifera, Nymphaea odorata subsp. tuberosa, Ceratophyllum demersum, Potamogeton zosteriformis.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
