Habitat: Found near the southwest shoreline of Battle Creek Lake (ID 82009100), a 100 acre shallow, eutrophic basin situated in the St. Paul-Baldwin Plains Ecological Subsection. Good water clarity. Near the public water access. Locally common, floating on the surface of the water.
Substrate: Silt substrate.
Associated Species: Associates include Wolffia columbiana, W. borealis, Spirodela polyrrhiza, Lemna turionifera, L. trisulca, Potamogeton richardsonii, P. crispus, Ceratophyllum demersum, Myriophyllum sibiricum, Heteranthera dubia, Nymphaea odorata subsp. tuberosa.
Description: Dorsal papilla prominent.
