Description:
Slender tree 15 m. tall, 13 cm. in diameter, 22 years old, about the maximum size in this colony (clone or clones); stems single or 2–3 in spaced clumps, perhaps the young colony mowed off years ago when this area was farmed. Bark shallowly furrowed, tight. Sapwood very pale; heartwood light tan, ± sharply delimited, with narrowly triangular heartwood segments radiating outwards, common in Salix. Pistillate.
