Habitat: In a mature forest under a canopy
Substrate: Soil dry-mesic sand with large component of humus.
Associated Species: of Pinus strobus and Quercus ellipsoidalis. Other lycophytes collected here on this date: Diphasiastrum digitatum, Spinulum annotinum, Lycopodium clavatum, L. hickeyi.
