“I do not think the other specimen is the var. fulvum, but a rather robust form of I. micans type. The colour and the branching do not agree with the description and figures of H. fulvum Hooker, or with the specimens in my herbarium. Mrs. Britton maintains Isopterygium fulvum Hooker as a distinct species.” H.N. Dixon in lit. 1926
