TREE to 34.23m in height, DBH 48cm, trunk height to foliage 20.77m, crown height 13.46m, crown width 10.69m, buttresses up to 1.65m, OUTER BARK rough, flaky, with lenticels, FISSURES vertical, narrow, BARK dark brown, brown, white, grey, green, CAMBIUM brown, light brown, white, grey, WOOD brown, yellow, red, white, grey, EXUDATE absent, wood sample preserved, from felled plot. Local name: ate makul. Local uses: timber for house construction, posts for house framing.
