Habitat: forested peatland (FPn63c). Mature to old growth dominated by Thuja occidentalis 45-75 cm DBH with large Picea mariana 25-35 cm. Canopy locally patchy (25-50% cover). At waypoint canopy 50-75% cover. Several tipups, deep hollows with water and brown mosses, 25-40% cover. Hummock 1-2' tall with Sphagnum lawn. Smilacina trifoliata. Solidago uliginosa, Prunus virginiana, Abies seedlings and shrubs. Carex stricta, Carex disperma, Gaultheria hispidula.
