Forest selectively logged ~10 years ago. Moist organic loam; level area just above elevation of nearby wetland ... Ground layer dominated by dense patches of Athyrium angustum. Additional associates include Carex radiata, C. gracillima, Maianthemum canadense, Viola pubescens, Platanthera psycodes, Mitella diphylla, Uvularia grandiflora, Arisaema triphyllum, Matteuccia struthiopteris.
