Habitat:
Forested poor fen with sphagnum mat on saturated floating mat. Low graminoid cover. Tamarack dead 50-75% cover; 5-15 cm dbh; Ledum 5-25% cover. Carex chordorrhiza, Smilicina trifoliata, Calla palustris, Carex canescens, Kalmia polifolia (infrequent), Eriophorum vaginatum, Carex paupercula. Scheuchzeria palustris, Menyanthes trifoliata, Sarracenia palustris, Scirpus hudsonianum, Scirpus atrovirens, Carex brunnescens, Rubus strigosus.
