Habitat:
Dry sand-gravel prairie that is intensively grazed with horses. Approximately half of cover in pasture is native species. Associates include: Poa sp. Agropyron repens, Heterotheca villosa, Geum triflorum, Anemone cylindrica, Hedeoma hispida, Artemisia campestris, Asclepias verticillata, Gnaphalium obtusifolium, Rumex acetosella, Helianthemum bicknellii, and Aster laevis.
