Habitat:
Plants occur along the edge of an upland stand dominated by Pinus banksiana and P. resinosa. Associated with Diervilla lonicera, Goodyera tesselata, Corallorhiza maculata, Linnaea borealis var. americana, Gaultheria procumbens.
