Habitat: Along the banks of the [river] ...on fairly steep, 30-foot, west-facing slope, immediately above the river just downstream from the [bridge]. Heavily grazed cattle pasture. Coarse sand and gravel substrate. Full sun. Associated species include Poa compressa, Verbascum thapsus, Centaurea biebersteinii, Equisetum hyemale, Artemisia campestris ssp. caudata, A. absinthium Euphorbia esula.
