Habitat: Extensive inter-drumlin wetland complex on rolling drumlin plain ... patterned rich sedge fen along water track ... mostly in wetter Carex lasiocarpa-dominated areas (flarks) between strings of Betula glandulifera that have formed perpendicular to the subtle surface water flow. Deep, saturated, spongy, sedge peat. Full sun. Additional associates include Carex chordorrhiza, C. livida, C. limosa, C. buxbaumii, Eriophorum gracile, E. angustifolium, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Thelypteris palustris, Utricularia minor, Equisetum fluviatile, Galium labradoricum, Triglochin maritima, Salix pedicellaris, S. petiolaris.
