Habitat:
In peatland ... along the northwest shoreline of a shallow, boggy, ~40-acre lake. Full sun ... in supersaturated, unconsolidated muck churned up by wildlife and floating on the near-shore portions of the lake. Associates include Scirpus smithii, Cyperus odoratus, Zizania palustris, Typha x glauca, Utricularia gibba, Brasenia schreberi.
