Habitat: along margins of this cool, clear stream. In shallow slack water and gentle current areas, and on recently exposed muddy shoreline. Substrate is muck over sand. Full sun. Associated species include Scirpus validus, Sagittaria sp., Bidens sp., Impatiens capensis.
