strongly-rolling forested terrain ... small poor fen in 4-acre basin. Full sun. Quaky, saturated peat. Continuous Sphagnum sp. and Polytrichum sp. moss carpets. Associated species include Salix pedicellaris, Betula papyrifera, Carex lacustris, C. chordorrhiza, C. lasiocarpa, Dulichium arundinaceum, Thelypteris palustris, Dryopteris cristata, Potentilla palustris, Epilobium leptophyllum, Drosera rotundifolia, Polygonum sagittatum, Sagittaria latiolia.
