Habitat: old-growth northern hardwood-conifer forest: sugar maple, yellow birch, northern white cedar, paper birch, white spruce
Description: very conic w pointed umbro- stature of H. conica; pileus 30mm high, 30mm broad; tip of umbro whiter, viscid; gills notched, white-margin half, yellow-half next to pileus. Stipe dry, shiny, nearly white.
