Associated species include Scirpus atrovirens, Poa palustris, Agrostis stolonifera, Calamagrostis canadensis, Carex stricta, Equisetum arvense, E. fluviatile, Campanula aparinoides, Euthamia graminifolia, Melilotus alba, Spiraea alba, Alnus incana.
