Habitat: In a long-abandoned pasture, now being invaded by shrubs and tree saplings ... Associated with Crataegus macrosperma, C. chrysocarpa, C. punctata, S. succulenta.
Description: an open-grown single-stemmed specimen, 2 m tall and 12 cm diameter at base. Stamens ca 10, anthers pink. Compound thorns absent, simple thorns sparse. Fruit crimson, L=0.8-0.95 cm, W=0.8-0.9 cm. Nutlets 2. Collected from same stem as WRS 26158 (flowering).
