Habitat: grain fields and fallow land, on very clayey soil in alluvial plain.

Description: plant dull green, slightly greyish. Ovary green; flower outside sordidly pale dull yellowish, 4 upper lobes largely irregularly dull brown, lip pale yellow with brown spots which are senser set towards the throat; hairs inside white; column pale yellow; stigma brownish, anthers yellow. Fetid.
