Habitat:
On the margin of [lake]...sedge fen on the northeast side of the lake. In Sphagnum moss over spongy peat. Full sun to partial shade of stunted Larix laricina & Picea mariana. Associates include Carex oligosperma, C. michauxiana, C. stricta, Muhlenbergia glomerata, Rhynchospora alba, Myrica gale, Chamaedaphne calyculata, Andromeda glaucophylla, Kalmia polifolia, Ledum groenlandicum, Vaccinium myrtilloides, Sarracenia purpurea, Vaccinium oxycoccus, Thuja occidentalis.
