Habitat:
In sandy-grassy opening along forest road. Herb layer 0.1 - 0.5 m in height, with Zizia aptea, Comptonia peregrina, Bromus sp., etc. and scattered Populus tremuloides saplings, Picea alba seedlings. Adj forest mostly conifers (FDn43).
