Littoral zone; a medium-sized, shallow, non-calcareous lake with moderate development along south half. Shoreline is emergent, scrub-shrub, and forested wetland to the N, and lawns and patches of deciduous trees to the S. Associated species: Scirpus acutus, Vallisneria americana, and Najas flexilis
